Ingenious Voice Assistant
Voice transcription is performed by the Android speech recognition service selected on your device. Ingenious Tools does not receive the audio or transcript merely because you use speech input.
When you choose OpenRouter, the spoken transcript or typed prompt is sent directly from the app using the API key and model choices you provide. When you choose local Gemma, the prompt and answer remain on the device. Questions and answers are not saved by default in either mode.
Voice Geocacher local mode
GPX files, imported cache coordinates, route state, and local Gemma prompts remain on the Android device. Commercial v1 does not synchronize customer cache data to Ingenious Tools and does not include a live Geocaching API integration.
Customer-selected OpenRouter mode
If you choose OpenRouter and enter your own API key, the prompt and any context shown for that request are sent directly to OpenRouter and the model provider selected under your account. OpenRouter usage, retention, and charges are governed by your OpenRouter account and provider settings.
Your choice
Cloud AI is optional in Voice Geocacher and Ingenious Voice Assistant. You can use their supported local model features without supplying an OpenRouter key.
